UMUCH Bel Air Bed  Tower Expansion (UMMS)

The University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health Center expansion project consisted of adding two stories to the existing building and extending the concrete stair towers and elevator towers utilizing the Peri Maximo form system. We utilized our Trimble Robotic Total Station to lay out slab depressions on the fourth and fifth floor decks, which saved time and manpower. This project is located in Bel Air, MD, at the University of Maryland Medical System.

LV’s work included:

  •  Concrete Stair Towers and Elevator Towers

  •  Heavy Foundations

  •  Slab-on-Grade

  •  Slab-on-Metal-Deck

LV poured 3,786 cubic yards of concrete and 96,808 square feet of slabs on this renovation project with zero safety incidents.
